Details:

I installed the program in compatibility mode in windows 7. This is an older flight simulator, but highly acclaimed and popular.

I've had this set for almost 10 years, and recently re tested it. For the helicopter, I set the pitch as the same channel as the throttle.

Under the compatibility tab, check off run this in compatibility mode for windows PX service pack 3 then hit OK. Then right on the setup. Exec file again, and hit run as administrator reflex xtr version 5. It's a great cheap starting set for training.

I'm not sure it was necessary for this version, but here are the instructions insert CD, browse to the CD using windows explorer, in the root of that CD is setup. I tested it out for at least 30 minutes, and had no trouble during that time.
