Looks like it was a free wheeling gas powered car. Look at the pictures, this needs some cleaning. Really cool looking vintage Cox pull start drag car with Cox engine and looks to be in working order. This even has Cox on the pull start.

The wheels turn and there does not seem to be any damage that I see. Great old Cox collectable car for restoration or use. I have no way to test this but it looks complete and has good compression.
